What are edible toppers?
Our edible toppers are available for both cake and cupcakes. We have also expanded our edible products to include edible cake borders. We include instructions on how to apply the toppers as well as how to store them until your event date.Edible toppers are super easy to use sugar images that can be applied to any type of dessert with frosting. Simply remove the protective backing and place on top of your frosted cake, cupcake or even cookie. The toppers lay flat on top of the frosted dessert. The topper designs are printed with edible food coloring inks on high quality sugar frosting sheets.

How long do the edible toppers last? / How far in advance should I order?
Our edible toppers remain fresh for 6 months after printing the artwork on them when kept sealed in their packaging. They do not require refrigeration, but should be kept on a flat surface and away from direct sunlight. Because of the long shelf life of our toppers, we recommend ordering a couple weeks in advance to guarantee arrival prior to your event.Although we occasionally do rush orders for customers, we are not responsible for delays in shipping. If you are worried about your package getting to you in time, please upgrade your shipping to ensure it gets there when needed. Also, please allow for 2-3 business days from your time of order for your order to be completed and shipped.
Where are you located?
Sweet'n Treats is an online retailer. We ship all of our edible products from Delaware.
What is your refund policy?
Our goal is to make our customers happy, after all, we want you coming back time and time again! However, we only issue refunds if the product is damaged during shipping or if there is a mistake and the fault is on us. Please check your receipt to make sure the spelling of all names and messages are correct, we print EXACTLY what we receive. We are not responsible for shipping delays, it is solely the customer's responsibility to place their order in time for a deadline and to select the correct shipping.
Do you have other images and designs available that are not featured on your website?
Yes, we have hundreds of other images available for edible cake and cupcake toppers that we simply do not have room for on our website. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your request.
Can I request a Proof?
Proofs are available upon request but the following guidelines apply.-We only do proofs for custom work.
-We do not do proofs until the order has been paid for.
-We will do everything we can to make your image exactly how you want however not everything that a customer requests is possible, and colors may vary from computer to computer and printer to printer, especially when using edible ink.

How do I apply my edible toppers to a cupcake?
Make sure your cupcakes or cakes are cool. Any type of icing will work (buttercream, royal icing, or store bought frosting). Apply icing to your treat and smooth it to create a flat surface. If your dessert is already iced and dry, you can slightly moisten them before applying the topper. Remove the protective backing from the topper. With clean, dry hands gently place the decal on top of the frosting. Gently pat down and smooth the topper from the center outwards.FONDANT & ROYAL ICING APPLICATION: Once you are ready to apply the topper, you can simply use a clean paintbrush with a little bit of water to adhere the decal to the fondant or royal frosting. Wet the paintbrush and brush the water directly on to the fondant/royal icing. Only a small amount of water is need to adhere the topper. With clean, dry hands add the topper and smooth from the center out.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
Unfortunately, at this time, we only ship within the US.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Sweet'n Treats currently accepts all major credit cards as well as PayPal. Paypal also accepts all major credit and debit cards. PayPal does not require you set set up an account prior to a purchase, simply select "Sign in as Guest/Pay with Credit or Debit Card"
What ingredients are in the edible toppers?
We are aware of food and dye allergies and we are happy to say that our toppers contain no allergens and are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Kosher Certified. Each topper contains 0 calories and only 1g Carbohydrate.The ingredient list is:

Yes, for larger orders, we do offer discounts. Please contact us with information about your upcoming order so we can quote you special pricing.
Can I get cupcake toppers in sizes other then 2 inch?
Yes. We can create toppers in for mini cupcakes that are 1-1/2 inch in size and even in different shapes. For these toppers more time and work is required so we don't offer these as standard options. To request toppers in a custom size or shape, please use our Custom Order Form.
How do I send custom images for my cake or cupcake topper order?
We prefer our customers to use the Photo Upload feature or Custom Order feature on our website when sending us images. This allows us to keep track of everything with ease and garner the information required to complete an order. However, if you have issues using either one of these, you can email us the images and all pertinent details to sales@sweetntreats.com
How quickly will I receive my edible cake or cupcake topper order?
Since each topper order is custom, 2-3 business days are required to create your toppers. Please allow an additional 3-5 business days for standard shipping. All orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail unless expedited shipping is selected. Expedited shipping reduces shipping time only not production time. We recommend placing your order at least 2 weeks before your event.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes, however, the complexity of the request is taken into consideration. Some of the requests we receive for custom work are simply too labor intensive and we would have to charge an unreasonably high fee in order to accommodate the request.
Will my toppers melt in warm weather?
No, however, your toppers may be softer and not as easy to remove from the backing. With warm weather please place your toppers in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes prior to removing the protective backing.
What sizes do your cake toppers come in?
- 8" ROUND which will fit 8" or 9" round cakes- 7.5" x 10" RECTANGULAR which will nicely fit 1/4 sheet cake and 1/2 sheet cake with additional room for decorations

What will my edible cake and cupcake toppers look like?
Due to the nature of the edible ink and frosting sheets used to create your custom cake and cupcake toppers, colors will vary slightly than what is seen on your computer screen or printed from a normal printer. Each topper is unique and they have ridges, grooves, nooks and crannies. They are not a perfect surface to print on and you may see small lines/dots through the cake topper. This is common and nothing to worry about. These marks will not be noticeable when the topper is applied to your treats and bonds to the icing.We do our best to provide you the best possible image!
What is the production time for my order?
We try to get all order out as soon as we can. Please allow a minimum of 2 to 3 days for your order to be produced and shipped.
Can I track my order?
Yes, a confirmation email is always sent with a tracking number when your order is shipped.
Are the images on your website trademarked or copyrighted? Do you have a Licensing Agreement to use these images?
Yes. All copyright and trademarks are property of their respective owners. Licensing for use of such images is provided through DecoPac, Inc. Please see our Licensing and Copyright page for detailed information.
Can I resell Sweet'n Treats products?
Because of image licensing agreements, no products may be resold. However, we do have an affiliate program that rewards referrals. Please contact us for more information.
Can I use cupcake toppers on things other than cupcakes?
Yes. Our edible toppers can be used on many desserts including cookies, brownies, chocolate covered oreos, chocolate lollipops, and other great party treats! Any food with a flat, iced surface of frosting or chocolate can be used.
